Force of Nature Cleaner

A cool way to get your kids interested in cleaning, with science.

Force of Nature has been a godsend during these crazy Covid times. Our family doesn’t like to use store-bought cleaners due to all the harsh chemicals and fragrances in them. We usually make our own cleaners using vinegar, water, and essential oils, but our homemade cleaners were no match for the Coronavirus. We wanted a cleaner that would kill most harmful germs and viruses but still be safe for our family. This cleaner is just that.

Force of Nature combines three ingredients (salt, water, and vinegar) and with its patent-pending appliance, uses electricity to change the chemical composition of those ingredients to create electrolyzed water. There are no added dyes, fragrances, or preservatives. Force of Nature is an EPA registered disinfectant & sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs and is on EPA’s List of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.

This product not only works, but it is fun to make. It served as a science experiment for our newly homeschooled children. You simply fill the Electrolyzer with regular tap water, empty the contents from one Activator Capsule in the water, plug it in, and push the start button. Blue lights will begin pulsing, then will transition to green. In about 9 minutes the light ring will be completely green meaning the cleaner is ready for use.

Unplug the Electrolyzer and pour the cleaner into the Spray Bottle. After rinsing the Electrolyzer out with water, you have to option of storing it away or plugging it back in and hitting the start button twice to start a day counter to keep track of the shelf life of your cleaner.

Their salt and vinegar mixer comes in pre-measured capsules, as required by the EPA, to ensure the pH is correct. The wrong pH levels can result in shorter shelf life and can eliminate the cleaner’s EPA germ-kill rates. You could end up creating bleach with the wrong mixture.

(Here in Arizona we have hard water, so we have to use distilled water to make our cleaner to ensure it doesn’t damage our electrolyzer.)

We use ours to clean everything including the kitchen, bathroom, windows, our car interior, pet accidents on the carpet, and kid’s toys. We loved it some much, we went through all five capsules in 1 month. It has a very light, chlorine type smell to it once it’s created which is nice compared to the overwhelming scents of store-bought cleaners. Replacement Activator Capsules are available for purchase on their website. We suggest you get started by ordering one of their starter kits. This is the one we received, click here
